Well, Dave was working on Father's Day, so we had to bring Father's day to him. Caiden and I went to visit Dave at the Fire station and stayed for the incredible prime rib dinner and twice baked potatoes that he made.
It was such a treat. We even took the fire engine out for a spin, courtesy of the Engineer! Caiden loved it. We were able to speak to each other on the radio which Caiden got a kick out of.
Dave's new station is an EOS station, which means that they are the first to be sent out on a strike team when there are major fires or disasters. It's exciting for him, but a bit scary for me.
Unfortunately, the guys had 2 calls during dinner, so we were interrupted a few times, but we still had fun.
Caiden even drew the firefighters and Dave a cute picture...what do you think of my little artist?
