Come rain, come sleet, come snow...if you fall in water, Caiden is your man!
Well, not really, but he wants to be. Dave is still doing the USAR training (Urban Search and Rescue training) with his job, and one of his courses is to learn swift water rescue techniques. They practice their swift water rescue at the Kern River. The Kern River can get pretty dangerous, so it is a pretty good place to learn the ropes of swift water rescue. I have posted a link below if you are interested in seeing what the Kern River is all about.

Caiden loves to try on daddy's gear, so Dave thought it would be cute to let him try on his vest and swift water gear. I think it's cute that he wants to be just like his daddy.

Very cute but if I fall in the water cute isn't going to save me!! :)
I'm impressed with Caiden, but I'm even more impressed that you got a picture of David (who is smiling) and holding Kiya who is not crying.
Very cute. I didn't even notice David in the back. So is Kiya warming up to him?
Very cute. Maybe someday he will be training at The Kern River too. Oh boy! As if being nervous for Dave isn't enough.
Wendy: Kiya and Dave do seem to be bonding. She loves to play pat-a-cake and have you play with and kiss her feet. She really is a good baby...and as she gets older it is getting easier to get smiles out of her for pictures.
