Christmas Day 2008 - At the Fire Station

As you already know, Dave worked on Christmas Day, so I took the kids down to the Fire Station so that they could spend time with their dad.

John, one of the firefighters, was intent on finding the "screw" out of this game that Sue made (basically bird seed is filled in a jar, and there are hidden things that you have to find in the jar without opening it...a tack, screw, rubber band, block, etc..). John was OBSESSED (and I do not use that word lightly) with finding the screw. For HOURS he sat and looked at this jar of bird seed - choice words eventually flew out of his mouth. :p Of course he was careful in front of the kids, but he DID threaten to call Dave's mom - of course she was on a cruise...good luck getting a hold of her :)

The kids had fun playing with Dave at the fire station. And we all watch "A Christmas Story" - a first for John and Dave.
