Caiden's 1st Fish!

Caiden and Dave in Big Bear



I saw these pictures on my mother-in-law's blog, and I just had to share them on mine. Dave and Caiden went up to Big Bear on August 29th as Dave did a shift trade with a friend to work at the local Fire Station up at Fawnskin. Since Sue and Jim live up at Big Bear, we thought it would be a great opportunity for a little Grandma and Grandpa quality time for Caiden. Luckily, Sue and Jim agreed :)

They had a blast. Not only did they visit Dave at the Fire Station, and ate homemade Apple Pie and Ice Cream, Caiden, Grandpa, Grandma and Daddy all went fishing at the little fishing pond across the street from Sue and Jim's house. Caiden really seemed to enjoy himself and even caught his first 2 fish!!! Although he wouldn't touch them, and he didn't particularly enjoy the flopping around, he was a trooper and even reeled in his first catch. He also "helped" Grandpa net a fish too.
