Happy Thanksgiving and Happy Birthday David Naffin!

Every year on Thanksgiving we celebrate two things. One, Thankgiving (and the usual - friends, family, and the good fortune to get together with loved ones to share our gratitude for what we have been blessed with) and David Naffin's birthday.

In case you didn't notice, David is a BIG USC fan...which makes sense since he earned one of his Master's and his PhD from there. Of course, my mom could not let him go through a birthday without getting him SOME kind of USA paraphernalia that he could wear while watching the game.

After Dave's birthday gifts, we all settled down for a nice home cooked meal of Turkey, stuffing and all of the works!!! We then sang songs (you know the typical...Itsy bitsy spider and the like - hey we do have 4 kids under the age of 4 in the same house, what would YOU do?)

We played, visited and ate our way through the Thanksgiving holiday. I am proud to say that I only gained one lb, which is actually quite impressive since I practically devoured a whole pumpkin pie by myself...Kiya helped, but still...
